Modify Product Configuration

If required, in the Product Configuration section, update the Current Standard Configuration, Total Each and Sales Tax.

Path: Orders > Order Manager > Order Items

From the Order Manager search, locate the order that needs to be updated and click on the icon of the item whose product configuration needs to be modified.

Current Standard Configuration

Only available for configurable products, this enables selection of the product configuration. For each configuration option, the price markup, description and either Standard, Upgrade or Current is displayed. Current represents the current configuration option assigned to the ordered item. By default, when adding a new item to the order, this is the associated standard. If a standard does not exist, 0.00 - None - Current i s displayed.

I f a barcode was entered in the previous step, the product configuration assigned to the barcode is pre-selected.

Important: Make sure to select a product configuration if the selector is presented. If a product configuration is not selected, CORESense will be unable to find associated inventory requirements when sourcing the order during the fulfillment process.

Total each

The total purchase price including any price markups associated to the selected product configuration. By selecting a configuration option that includes a price markup, this value is automatically updated to the product base price plus all price markups associated to the selected configuration.

Sales Tax

The ordered item sales tax displayed as a percentage or dollar amount. By default, this is automatically calculated based on sales tax rules set up for your company. See the Sales Tax Manager for more information.

Make any necessary adjustments to the product configuration and click the Update Order Item.

Important: When modifying ordered item product configuration, price, and sales tax, all promotional discounts and affiliate commissions are recalculated for the order based on current promotional rules and affiliate commission structures .
