Inventory Availability Calculation

  • In Stock = considers only the inventory that is In Stock.  If greater than 0, product is deemed “available”.

  • In Stock + On Stock PO – Backordered = Considers inventory that is In Stock, plus inventory that is on a stock PO, minus the back ordered quantity, in order to provide the net available.  If greater than 0, product is deemed “available”.

Inventory Not Available Action

If product has configurations and inventory reaches 0 for the SKUs associated to a specific configuration, the website will display “Unavailable” text beside the configuration value, and value will be “grayed out”.   The configuration value cannot be selected.

  • Do Not Display -  When set, the website removes the specific configuration or the entire product from the display when inventory reaches 0 on a single SKU or all SKUs, respectively.  If all SKUs are unavailable, the product is not visible or searchable.  If the user accesses the product page directly, a configurable Out of Stock message displays in place of the Add to Cart plug-in.
