Shipping Defaults

Default general and per carrier shipping settings.

General  

Default Shipping Printed Status:

Select the shipment status to be the default within the Shipment Manager batch options.

Default Shipping Document Template:

Choose the shipment document template to be used within the Shipment Manager batch options.

Shipment Status Template Tag Not Shipped Default Text:

Enter what should be displayed in the Ship Date column of the <shipment_status> template tag when the Ship Date is not set.

Take/Now Shipment Ship Date Template Tag Default Text:

Enter what should be displayed in the "Tracking" column of the <shipment_status> template tag when order item has delivery timing of Take/Now.

Take/Now Shipment Status Template Tag Default Text:

Enter what should be displayed in the "Ship Date" column of the <shipment_status> template tag when order item has delivery timing of Take/Now.

Default Shipments Per Page:

Enter the number of Shipments Per Page to be displayed in the Shipment Manager - Search Results section.

Enable Address Verification Service:

Yes - Enables USPS Address Verification Service in the back office. Requires USPS account. 

Order Subtotal Shipping Cost Calculation:

Setting this will allow Order Subtotal Shipping Based on Retail or Discounted Subtotal.

Carriers

 

Allow Weekend Shipment Pickup:

Some shipping carriers allow weekend pickup of shipments, at a premium. Enabling this option will allow the website usler to be charged that premium, with the expectation that the shipment will go out that day.

Live Shipping Adjustment:

The percentage or fixed dollar markup applied to the real-time calculated UPS or FedEx shipping cost.

Acceptable formats include: "10%" (10% markup) and "10" ($10 markup).

Live Shipping Adjustment Excluded Channels:

Channels Excluded for Live Shipping Adjustment, Live Shipping Adjustment will not be applied for these channels. Use Ctrl key to select multiple channels.

Fedex

 

Default FedEx Account:

If you have multiple FedEx account you can identify which account is the default for calculating shipping and live rates.

Default FedEx Account per Channel:

Allows you to set default FedEx accounts per sales channel. If the FedEx account is set for any channels then it displays that account, otherwise; it displays the System-wide default FedEx account.

FedEx Shipping Label Options:

Combined FedEx Shipping Label / Order Summary (Standard Printer):

When enabled, this prints a combined Order Summary and FedEx Shipping label to a laser printer.

  • Display Border: This specifies whether or not a border is displayed around the Combined FedEx Shipping Label / Order Summary document.

  • Orientation: This specifies the orientation of the Combined FedEx Shipping Label / Order Summary document.

  • FedEx Shipping Label Location: This specifies the location of the FedEx Shipping Label.

  • Display SKU Information: This specifies whether SKU information is displayed for each product in the Combined FedEx Shipping Label / Order Summary document.

  • Default Order Summary Branding: This specifies the default order summary branding used by the Combined FedEx Shipping Label / Order Summary document.

FedEx Shipping Label (Standard Printer):

When enabled, this prints the FedEx Shipping label to a laser printer.

Template: Email and Document Template under 'Shipments' to use for the label. 

FedEx Shipping Label (PDF, Standard Printer):

This prints the FedEx Shipping label to a laser printer, without the surrounding CORESense template.

Fedex Shipping Label (Thermal Printer):

This prints the FedEx Shipping label to standard FedEx Thermal printer.

The following settings are required when using the FedEx Thermal printer.

FedEx Thermal Label Stock Orientation:  This specifies whether the Doc Tab is located on the Leading or Trailing end of the shipping label as it emerges from the printer. If the shipping label does not have a Doc Tab, select None.

FedEx Thermal Label Doc Tab Location: This specifies the orientation of the Doc Tab label text when viewing the shipping label upright. Top displays the text in an upright position. Bottom displays the text in an upside-down position. Select Top if None was selected as the Label Stock Orientation, explained above.

Mask FedEx Account Number On Label:

If 'yes' the Fedex Account number will not be displayed on the label. 

FedEx Default Bill To:

Select either Sender, Recipient, or Third party from the drop-down list as the Bll To if none is otherwise specified.

FedEx Default Bill To Account Number:

The default bill to Fedex account to use when none other is specified. 

Default Duties and Taxes Payor Type:

Select either Sender, Recipient, or Third party from the drop-down list as the payer of any duties/taxes/fees associated with shipments.

Account Number:

This is only required if "Recipient" or "Third Party" was selected as the "Default Duties and Taxes Payor Type" system setting.

Default Pickup or Dropoff Option:

Select either 'Use scheduled pickup at my location', Drop off at Fedex location, Contact Fedex to request a Pickup as the default pickup or drop-off option.

International SED Sender TIN or DUNS Type:

Select SED, TIN or DUNS from the drop-down list. 

International SED Sender TIN or DUNS Number:

Enter the either the federal (US) TIN (taxpayer identification number) or the Dun and Bradstreet DUNS Number of Sender. Required for any US Export shipments.

International SED AES or FTSR Exemption Number:

Enter the full AES SED exemption legend or the full FTSR exemption legend. Required by ground shipments and non-document Express US Export Shipments.

FedEx Label Image Format:

This is required by Combined FedEx Shipping Label / Order Summary (Standard Printer) and FedEx Shipping Label (Standard Printer) only. Since FedEx API/Direct v1025 (March 2006), PNG4X6 format is supported by FedEx.

Enable FedEx Address Classification:

When set to 'Yes' the FedEx Address Classification API will over-ride the FedEx Default Address Classification below.

FedEx Default Address Classification:

Select 'Use System-Wide Default', Commercial or Residential from the drop-down list ot set the FedEx Default Address Classification per channel.

FedEx Requested Rate Type:

Select 'Use System-Wide Default', Commercial or Residential from the drop-down list ot set the FedEx Requested Rate Type' per channel.

FedEx Delivery Notification Email Address:

This email address will be presented as the default ShipAlert Shipper address. CORESense supports reading delivery confirmation emails imported into the Back Office and associating them with the order.

FedEx Log API Calls:

Set to true to log FedEx API calls.

FedEx Web Services Environment:

Hard coded as 'production environment'. 

FedEx Default Box Dimensions:

Select 'Assigned Carton Dimensions' or 0x0x0 from the drop down list. 

UPS WorldShip

 

Populate UPS Box Dimensions:

Controls whether to display the Box Dimensions.

Ignore Voided Label Records:

If enabled, the WorldShip import will use a different workflow for shipment records which are voided by matching the Shipment ID and Tracking number. If a match in CORESense is found on the shipment, it will remove its tracking number and ship date and the order will be set to an exception status.

Worldship Import Auto Clean Worldship Export Tables after Import:

Whether or not records should be deleted from UPS Worldship export tables after import in the interest of saving database space.

The United States Postal Service Web Tools ID.

USPS Domestic API User:

The URL for the USPS API.

Freight Quote

Freight Quote URL:

The Freigth Quote URL.

Freight Quote Email:

The Frieght Quote Email. 

Freight Quote Password:

The Freight Quote Password.

To edit click the 'hammer & wrench' and click the 'x' to delete the account. 

FedEx COD Default Values - For Order Shipment Only:

Internal Label: User determined label for internal reference. 

Fedex Account Number: The Fedex Account Number associated with this Carrier Account'. 

Fedex Meter Number: The Fedex Meter Number associated with this Carrier Account. 

Status: Active/Inactive

Create Carrier Account - Clicked to create the Create Account. 

Default Shipping Cost Drivers:

Set defaults for COD > More Options > Edit screen for fields: Collection Type and Name/Address.


COLLECTION TYPE: Select the collection type option from the drop-down list.

NAME/ADDRESS: Enter the default address information so that it displays from within the FedEx shipping COD details screen. If a default is set for each field, it is be pre-populated on the shipment.

Default Shipping Cost Drivers

Select a cost driver for each shipping method. Click on the radio button of the method that is to be your default shipping method.

Click Apply to save the settings.
