Description

User Password Minimum Length

• The minimum number of characters the password for a COREsense user account must contain.

• Leave blank to specify no minimum.

User Password Minimum Upper Case Characters

• The minimum number of upper-case characters the password for the CORESense user account must contain.

• Leave blank to specify no minimum.

User Password Minimum Lower Case Characters

• The minimum number of lower-case characters the password for the CORESense user account must contain.

• Leave blank to specify no minimum.

User Password Minimum Punctuation Characters

• The minimum number of punctuation characters the password for the CORESense user account must contain.

• Leave blank to specify no minimum.

User Password Minimum Numeric Characters

• The minimum number of numeric characters the password for the CORESense user account must contain.

• Leave blank to specify no minimum.

User Password Maximum Password Age (Days)

• The maximum number of days before a user is forced to change their password for the CORESense user account.

• Leave blank if passwords do not expire.

User Password Minimum Number of Unique Passwords History

• The number of historical passwords to compare against the new password for a CORESense user account to prevent a user from re-using the same password.

• Leave blank to allow re-use of old passwords.

User Number of Consecutive Failed Logins Allowed

• The number of consecutive failed login attempts before a CORESense user account is locked  (i.e. after 3 failed attempts, the account is locked).

• Leave blank to allow unlimited attempts.

User Time to Lockout the Account (in minutes)

• The number of minutes to lock a CORESense user account after the maximum number of consecutive failed logins has been reached (i.e. after 3 failed attempts, the user cannot try again for 30 minutes).

• Leave blank to not auto lock in minutes.

• Accounts that have been locked can also be unlocked from the User Account Manager.

User Time Window In Which the Failed Logins

Must Occur To Lock The Account (in minutes)

• The number of minutes in which consecutive failed login attempts must occur in order to lock a CORESense user account (i.e. after 3 failed attempts within 5 minutes, the user is locked).

• Leave blank to specify no time limit for unsuccessful attempts.
