Add to Cart

The “Tabular add to cart” functionality within the “Add to cart” plug-in supports products with multiple configurations.

Implementation Steps

Follow the steps below to add the plug-in to a website.

Show Quantity Field (Yes/No) - The feature gives you the option to show the quantity field or not.

Show Shipping Calculator (Yes/No) - Typically not used, but allows for use of a different template where a Shipping Calculator can be configured.

Configuration Options Render Type (Anchor Box/Select drop-down) - This is how configuration options will be rendered.

Out-of-Stock Label (Yes/No) - Allows you to specify text of when a product is out of stock.

Use MagicZoom™  (Yes/No) - Enabled MagicZoom™ plug-in use.

Put Product Configuration Selector in Template - (Yes/No): If you need to place the product configuration anywhere within the template of the add to cart plug-in, set this setting to Yes and place {$product_configuration_selector} within add_to_cart_body_no_calculator template.

 If you need different templates per add to cart instance, within the add to cart template (i.e.,  add_to_cart_body_no_calculator) you can use a switch to load different content, for example:  {if $tag_name=="add_to_cart"}First instance{else}Second instance{/if}.

 

AJAX Add To Cart

Follow the steps below to Use AJAX Add To Cart callback functionality.

Redirect To Checkout? (Yes/No) - To use AJAX Add To Cart functionality, where the customer is not redirected to the checkout, specify No.

 Success Callback Function - Specify a typical Javascript function to be called when Redirect To Checkout is specified as No.  At minimum, you could put in an Alert box stating the item was added to the cart. *

* Note: In order for the minicart to be refreshed and have the callback function called, place a div tag around minicart plug-in instance call as shown below.

Check Product Availability

Provides the ability to display inventory by warehouse on the web product detail page.

Put {product_check_availability_button} in add_to_cart_body_no_calculator template (added at bottom after last DIV.

Updated {add_to_cart} plugin tag so that Check Availability Results Template was set to product_check_availability_results
