Template Sections

The list of templates is comprised of standard sections that you can use for your web site. Sections that have not yet been inserted into your web site are identified with the New button. Once you insert a section into your web site, the button reads Edit and allows changes to be made.

1

Enter a Name that is descriptive.

  • Include underscores between words (i.e., index_home).

  • Use lowercase letters.

  • Do not include any special characters ( * ^ # ).

  • You cannot change the name once it has been saved.

2

If desired, you can assign the template to a specific Product Type, otherwise the None option creates the default template for all Product Types.

You can Upload code from an existing file only when it is a brand new template. It is recommended that you cut and paste the code from an existing file into the editor text box.

4

Click Save to commit your entries.

5

Once you have code in the editor, you can click on the Download button should you want to export for other purposes.
