Breadcrumb

This plug-in generates a category chain showing how the user got to the current page. It can be displayed on category page, product listings, and on product detail pages. The breadcrumb plug-in will allow you to configure templates for:

the first breadcrumb
currently selected breadcrumb (the category you are on)
all other breadcrumbs, if no breadcrumbs exist
text before the breadcrumb

Implementation Steps

Follow the steps below to add the plug-in to a website.

Step	Action
1	Breadcrumb Base Template - You can specify how non-selected breadcrumbs will look. You will need to configure a anchor tag that links to a friendly category url {category_url} and label of the category website display name {$website_display_name}.
2	Current Category Breadcrumb Template - Allows you to configure a template for a breadcrumb you selected (the category you clicked on). Typically, you would configure only website display name {$website_display_name} and not make it clickable (no anchor tag).
3	Empty Breadcrumb String - The breadcrumb plugin will output this template, if no breadcrumb exists.
4	Breadcrumb Prefix String - The template can be configured to output content prior to rendering the breadcrumbing plugin.
