Find Customer Account
This plug-in provides the ability for customers to access their account on the website if the customer record was originally created in store. "Find Customer Account" was created to interact with the "Sign In" page, and coordinate the lookup of customer records. The lookup includes a three-point confirmation of the customer record data, as well as the creation of a website account for the matching record.
- The confirmation fields prompt the customer to enter specific data that typically returns a single matching record (Customer ID, Loyalty Number, Email Address.) Secondary confirmation verification is populated to ensure record is matched.
- If customer's form data matches the Back Office data for the same customer record identified, the customer is taken to the new "Account Completion" page, where any remaining required data is entered. Once all data is complete, the customer is logged in and taken to the "My Account" page.
- If a match isn't made, the customer receives an error message stating what fields didn't match and allows them to re-enter data. After the third unsuccessful verification attempt, the customer receives a final confirmation error message.
