Mobile Redirect

The Mobile Redirect A plug-in enables the desktop website to prevent automatic redirects to the corresponding mobile site utilizing JavaScript. This plug-in can be modified by viewing the Plug-ins tab > Mobile Redirect within the template manager.

Plug-in includes template for JavaScript that controls mobile device identification.

>Plug-in includes an Active flag, allowing client to disable it completely.

Plug-in includes a "Home Page Only" option, which supports redirect from the desktop homepage to mobile, but does not redirect on any other page of the desktop site.

Add a session variable to the website which will be false by default.

The mobile site is coded such that the "View Full Site" link parameter string triggers the plug-in upon arrival on the desktop site.

The plug-in sets the session variable, which is used conditionally to activate or block automatic redirect to mobile site based on device parameters defined in JavaScript. This prevents customer from being sent right back to the mobile site
