Order Life Cycle Management Workflows Overview

The workflow detailed below maps the possible paths an order can follow based upon system and manual variables that impact an order's progression through CORESense. Based upon system settings and/or business decisions, an order can follow one path versus another.

Navigation

When following the diagram, there are decision points that determine how an order is moved through the system. At different points, there are options to choose another path by clicking on the Jump to Next Phase shape. Next to some of the shapes are icons that, when clicked, provide additional information specific to that action along the path. There are also hyperlinks that lead to detailed How-To instructions within this documentation.

These clickable icons represent the following types of information:	The colored shapes identify different actions as follows:
System Setting Option - provides information on which system settings you can use to alter action of order.
System Trigger - Identifies a major event within the system.
Business Decision - Highlights an action that is configurable based on your business process.
Documentation - Identifies an action that involves documentation creation in the Back Office.
Screenshot - Identifies a pop-up image of a relevant Back Office screen.
Related Topics - Links that provide How-to steps for topics within each phase (links display content in a new window).
