Activate Product

Once a all product data has been entered, the product can be made active on one or more sales channels. Before activating the product on a sales channel, first the products general status must be updated.  This is a global status that allows the product to be available on selected activated sales channels.

Update General Status

Follow the steps below to update the general status of the product.

From the Product Manager screen, click on the General Attributes link to access the Standard General Attributes.

In the Standard General Attributes section, select Active from the Status radio buttons.

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Update at the bottom of the Custom General Attributes section.

Update Sales Channel Status

Follow the steps below to update a product's sales channel specific status.

From the Product Manager screen, click on the Channels link to access to access the Channel Information.

Click icon or the Initiate link in the Action column next to the Sales Channel to be activated.

In the Sales Channel General Attributes section, select Active from the Status radio buttons.

Click Update to save it. The Sales Channel Status is now active and displays on the associated sales channel.  To return to the Product screen, click the Back to Product Channels link in the upper portion of the screen.
