The SOI supports the delayed delivery functionality as setup in the System Settings > Shipping > Delay tab. Once the settings are created, delayed delivery dates can be assigned to an order from the SOI.

From the Order Items screen, click on theAdditional Details hammer/wrench to open. |

Use the calendar icon to select a Delayed Delivery Date.

Once the order is complete and available in the Back Office, the Delayed Delivery date and notes are listed within the related Ship To box. |

The order will remain in Delayed Delivery status (per the Shipping Delay system settings) until the Lead Time date is met, and then the fulfillment process is initiated. |
