Delayed Delivery

The SOI supports the delayed delivery functionality as setup in the System Settings > Shipping > Delay tab. Once the settings are created, delayed delivery dates can be assigned to an order from the SOI.

From the Order Items screen, click on theAdditional Details hammer/wrench to open.

Use the calendar icon to select a Delayed Delivery Date.

  • If there are multiple shipments and you want each shipment to be delayed with the same date, check the Apply to All Ship To's box.

  • To select a different delayed delivery date for each ship-to, click on the Additional Details hammer/wrench for the order item.

  • You can also enter any delivery notes for the shipping team for the delayed shipments.

  • Click Update to save entries.

Once the order is complete and available in the Back Office, the Delayed Delivery date and notes are listed within the related Ship To box.

The order will remain in Delayed Delivery status (per the  Shipping Delay system settings) until the Lead Time date is met, and then the fulfillment process is initiated.
