If you have multiple manufacturers for a Product Type, duplicating a grid provides a quick and efficient creation of a new grid for each manufacturer without having to rebuild all of the grid characteristics. Follow the steps below to duplicate a grid.

Perform a Search for the grid to be duplicated. Select the grid from the Search Results and click on its

Click on the Duplicate Grid link on the screen menu.

Complete the fields in the Duplicate Grid box as described below. Grid Label – This field is automatically populated with the name of the grid you are duplicating from. It MUST be changed in order to successfully duplicate a grid, if not an error is generated. Status – Set the grid you are creating to Active or Inactive status using the available radio buttons. Manufacturer – Use the available drop-down list to select the corresponding manufacturer for the grid you are building. Product Type – This field is locked down and cannot be altered. This is what your duplicated grid is being based off of. Add New X-Axis Label - Click on the button to add new values to the X-Axis Label displayed in the column header (Size). Add New Y-Axis Label - Click on the button to add new values to the Y-Axis Label displayed in the column header (Width). Duplicate Size Run – Select the appropriate radio button based on whether or not you want to use the same Size Run information that is contained in the grid you are duplicating from. |

Click the Create Duplicate button. The General Attributes screen of the new grid automatically displays.
