Complete the Auction Information as described in the field descriptions below.

Title - The title represents the title of the auction when launched for that specific product. Typically a consultant has mapped this value to the eBay template as a source of information for the auction title. (eBay limitation of only 55 characters)

Subtitle - The subtitle could also be used as a subtitle of the auction when launched for that specific product. A consultant can map this value to the eBay template as a source of information for the auction.

Description (required if not using a template) - You can use the standard fields on the channel, one being description, or use a template. One of the two are required. It is standard to use a template and not the description to allow the client more flexibility in how they visibly present their auctions.

Template (required if no description) - The eBay template is comprised of various "static" content areas (i.e., shipping policies, payment policies, etc.) as well as dynamic pulls of information from the product attributes themselves (product type attribute information, additional descriptions, additional images, etc.). Work with your implementation consultant to define the structure of the template or to request additional templates you wish to use. When creating and/or editing templates, it is recommended that you reference the eBay guideline:  http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-javascript.html

Note: Updated template information is not refreshed during a live auction.

  • Store Only Fixed Price  - Only launches in eBay store for Fixed Price.

Automatically Relist  -  This flag relists an auction automatically if it expires with no winner. Once relisted, the newly-created auction uses the current eBay channel defaults versus the previously ended auction information. For example, if you changed the Buy-It-Now price of an item from the time the first auction launched to the time the auction relisted, the newly relisted auction displays the updated price.

Category 1 (required) - Default category in eBay to launch auctions for the product.

Category 2 - Optional second category in eBay to launch auctions for the product.
