Transfers Overview

Transfers provide a fast, efficient, automated method of moving products from one location to another for both intra-warehouse or inter-warehouse. To allow for proper checks and balances, Transfers are a three-step process within the CORESense system as listed:

  1. Build a Transfer using the Transfer Builder. There are (4) types of Transfers to chose from:

    1. Grid Transfer Builder - Used for Grid Products. e.g. apparel, footwear that have been set up using CORESense Grid functionality.

    2. Standard Transfer Builder - Used for Transfer of indiviual SKU's typically associated with Non-Grid ir simple products.

    3. Barcode Transfer Builder - Scan SKU via barcode label into the transfer.

    4. Overstock Transfer Builder = Move inventory from non-pickable locations to pickable locations base on Default Pick Location settings. Non-pickable locations are those 'not available for fulfillment.'

  2. Once built, the transfer can be Created, Transferred and Received or sent to the Transfer Queue where it can grouped with other pending Transfers by Shipping Method, Source Location and Destination Location before being Created
