Journal Entry Export Overview
The Journal Entry Export functionality is used to export journal entry level data in a .CSV format that can be used with an accounting system that accepts a .CSV file. The table below lists what type of data are exported from CORESense.

Note: In accounting terms, the data exported from CORESense is at the journal entry level, not at the individual item level.
Journal Entry Process Steps
The Journal Entry Export process includes the following steps:
- Create a Journal Entry Configuration in the Journal Entry Export Manager.
- Export a QuickBooks or create a generic file of your Chart of Account in the .CSV format.
- Import Chart of Accounts .CSV into CORESense.
- Map Chart of Accounts against CORESense accounts.
- Export file for use in QuickBooks or generic analysis.
